This V1 was designed and built over a span of 6 months by a large team working together. It is powered by 5 Electric Ducted Fans (EDF) units and uses TEN 5000mAh 6S LiPo's!. Andrew got to fly it 2 times to practice and then flew it 3 times during the airshow. Weighs around 200 lbs and is the largest RC model in New Zealand. The Launch ramp has 800 lbs of pull and accelerates the V1 at 3G's on take off.
He even got to fly a loose formation with a full scale Spitfire on one flight!
So very cool! Wont see this size at a US flying field!
