En þetta kemur líka fyrir keppninautana hinu megin við Atlantshafið, það gerðist hins vegar á jörðu niðri og ekki með neinum farþegum svo það hefur ekki fengið jafn mikla umfjöllun. Þá vél þurfti hins vegar að afskrifa eins og sést hér að neðan.

As a side note, the 767 was totaled from the damage, but probably not why most would think. The fire damage was more extensive that the pictures show because the guys doing the run up left the aft cabin door open (oops!) and the fire entered the cabin and scorched the interior almost all the way up to first class...but that's not why it was totaled.
It was totaled because when the #1 engine turbine wheel let go...it shot down, bounced off of the tarmac, shot into the fuselage, cutting the main keel beam in half before continuing through the fuselage and finally ending up buried in the aft section of the #2 engine[/quote]
