Spoilers: This prototype has both upper and lower spoilers.... I am going to change the production for upper ones only. There is no need for the amount of breaking this airplane has with (4) spoilers total, plus the mechanical set up to get everything operating correctly was a major pain! Trust me: (1) spoiler each side will be fine. Any objections? (no? Good). Pictures will be coming shortly. My buddy's wife had the camera and I hope to get some in flight shots for you guys.
The airplane fly's GREAT! Only 2 clicks of down trim was all that was needed. The 60% Clipped wing Cub didnt even know there was a 45 lb. glider behind it. We towed for about 2-3 minutes and we were pleanty high.
We ended up putting about 8 pounds of lead in the front so with glue it was probabbly closer to 9 pounds of weight. Best guess on the flying weight is 45 lbs.[/quote]
